Before the time we started the modern, minimalistic, throw-out-and-buy-new-society, things were made to be beautiful and presented properly. Cigars did not just come in a dull piece of cardboard with a simple logo, oh no, some were served in finely cut wooden boxes, or embossed metal boxes, or other beautiful presentations. And the associated logo illustrations were also really carefully prepared. Yes, that was back in the time, where aesthetic work and quality were more important than quantity, and this was the time that gave birth to these elegant cigar box illustrations.
